IEC 62321 Ed. 1 版本更新說明

親愛的客戶，您好：

國際電工技術委員會(IEC)第111號技術委員會第3工作小組(TC 111 WG 3) 參考了歐盟的RoHS指令，擬訂了對六大有害物質檢測方法，於2005年6月提出「決定電子產品中法定有害物質檢測程序 (Procedures for the Determination of Levels of Six Regulated Substances in Electrotechnical Products)」的草案，其編號為IEC 62321 Ed. 1，版本為111/24/CD。

另外，2006年5月又再發佈一個新的版本，111/54/CDV。新版本預計2007年1月獲准進入最終草案審查，同年3月進入編輯檢查階段，並於2008年3月成為國際標準，正式出版。

◎ 其中六價鉻測試章節更改如下：

新版本(111/54/CDV)之第八章節是金屬的六價鉻測試，第九章節是塑膠和電子零件之六價鉻測試。為區別版本，原稱IEC 62321 Section 9更新為IEC 62321 Ed. 1 (111/54/CDV) Section 8； 原稱IEC 62321 Section 10 更新為IEC 62321 Ed.1 (111/54/CDV) Section 9。

IEC 62321 Ed. 1 Update

Dear Sirs,

It is hereby explained that the latest version for 111/54/CDV of IEC 62321 Ed. 1 had been released by May 5, 2006.

The International Standard IEC 62321, Ed. 1 (111/24/CD) of Committee Draft has been prepared on June 2005 by IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) TC 111 WG 3: Procedures for the Determination of Levels of Six Regulated Substances in Electrotechnical Products. This Standard was established with referring to the EU RoHS Directive. The purpose of this normative document is therefore to provide test procedures to determine the levels of the regulated substances: Pb, Hg, Cd, Cr6+, PBB, PBDE (EU RoHS, China, US, Japan, etc.) in the electrotechnical products on a consistent global basis.

Furthermore, the IEC has further released a latest version of 111/54/CDV on May 2006. It shall be published and become the International Standard in the near future.

The section for Hexavalent Chromium (VI) had been modified as follows:

The latest version of Section 8 (111/54/CDV) explained the test for the presence of Hexavalent Chromium on Metals, and the Section 9 indicated the test of Hexavalent Chromium in Polymers and Electronics. In order to distinguish from the version between 111/24/CD with 111/54/CDV, the original IEC 62321 Section 9 had been replaced by IEC 62321 Ed. 1 (111/54/CDV) Section 8. In addition, the original IEC 62321 Ed.1 Section 10 modified to IEC 62321 Ed.1 (111/54/CDV) Section 9.
